All Nur Labs apps share these core principles:
- 100% Private — your data never leaves your device
- No Data Collection — we collect zero personal information
- No Accounts Required — no sign-ups, no logins, no emails
- No Analytics or Tracking — no third-party SDKs watching you
- No Ads — ever
- Data Stays on Device — everything is stored locally
1. What Data We Collect
Short answer: ZERO personal data.
Our apps store data locally on your device to provide their features. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party:
Nur (Prayer Times & Qibla)
- Prayer time calculation preferences (method, school)
- Favorite locations for prayer times
- Tasbih counter progress
- Prayer tracking history
- Widget and notification settings
- App appearance preferences
DhikrFlow
- Dhikr progress and counts
- Custom dhikr entries
- Daily goals and streak data
- Favorites and bookmarks
- App settings and preferences
Nur Radio
- Favorite stations
- Play history
- Sleep timer settings
- App preferences
2. How Location Data Is Used
Location data is used ONLY for prayer time calculation. It is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server, including ours.
When you grant location permission in Nur, your device's GPS coordinates are used locally to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. The coordinates are never sent anywhere.
You can opt out of location access entirely and manually select your city instead. The app works fully without GPS.
3. What We DON'T Collect
To be absolutely clear, we do not collect any of the following:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, serial numbers)
- Analytics or usage data
- Crash reports or diagnostics
- Cookies or web tracking
- Advertising data or ad identifiers
- Browsing or search history
- Contacts, photos, or any device data
4. Third-Party Services
Nur & DhikrFlow
Zero third-party services. These apps operate entirely offline and connect to no external servers whatsoever.
Nur Radio
Nur Radio connects to mp3quran.net to stream Quran recitations. This connection transmits only the audio stream request — no personal data is sent to mp3quran.net or any other service.
None of our apps include:
- Google Analytics or Firebase
- Facebook SDK or any social media SDK
- Crash reporting tools (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
- Advertising frameworks
- Any other third-party data collection SDK
5. iCloud Sync
Nur Radio uses Apple's NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore (iCloud Key-Value Storage) to sync your favorites across your Apple devices. This data is:
- Encrypted and managed entirely by Apple
- Stored in your personal iCloud account
- Never accessible to Nur Labs — we have no access to your iCloud data
- Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
All Nur Labs apps are safe for users of all ages, including children under 13:
- No personal data is collected from any user, regardless of age
- No social features, chat, or user-generated content
- No advertisements of any kind
- No in-app purchases that target children
- No account creation required
7. Your Data Control
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app
- Clear specific data through each app's settings
- No server-side data to request deletion of — because we never collected any
There is no data on our servers to delete, export, or transfer — because we don't have servers that store your data.

9. Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this privacy policy, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify users through an app update
Our promise: We will never begin collecting personal data without your explicit, informed consent. If that day ever comes (it won't), you will be clearly notified and given the choice to opt out before any data is collected.
